Husqvarna Motocross Team 2005

Husqvarna dues its popularity to Motocross models and to a great race tradition that brought to the Varese firm 21 World Titles in this category. Furthermore, we always believed in the return of the “4 strokes” in Motocross and started a series production from 1983 with the 610, a bike that leaded ten years later Jacky Martens to the World Championship, in the 500 class.

The 2005 signs the official re-entry in the World Motocross competitions.

After a pause lasted one year, the prestigious brand 67 times World Champion comes back in what can be said the Formula One of the Motocross category: the MX1.

Under the guide of a special Sport Manager, the 2 times World Champion Alex Puzar, Husqvarna will take on the tracks two young new entries who will be followed by the Edo Racing Team: the Italian Champion in charge in the open class Daniele Bricca and the 20–years–old French rider Antoine Meo.

Both the two will ride with the evolution of the TC 450, which in the last few months underwent to some important technical changes decided by the Husqvarna R&D Manager Romano Albesiano and Manfredi Fenici, Racing Department Developer.

The structure, handled by Antonio Farina owner of the Edo Racing Team, will have its logistics base in Monza, while in Schiranna will be held tests and prototype bikes development. The team will ride in the World Championship, Italian Overall championships and 5 International races.
